Expanding Lymphatic Health with Vulnerability and Growth in 2025.
Embracing Vulnerability and Vision
As I sit down to write this, I feel a wave of vulnerability wash over me. Sharing my goals so openly is both exhilarating and… terrifying. What if I don’t achieve them? What if someone judges me for not having accomplished these things already? Who am I to think I can do such a thing!?
But this year, I’ve decided to embrace the discomfort and put myself out there. Vulnerability is where growth happens, and 2025 is my year to grow—personally, professionally, and as a leader in my field- There, I said it!
When I think about what I want to accomplish this year, it’s not just about checking boxes. It’s about creating a vision for who I want to be and the impact I want to make. Some of these goals are ambitious—the kind that makes me wonder if I’m dreaming too big. Others are quieter, more personal commitments to living intentionally and fully. But my end goal is simple. I want to be kind. I want to spread as much joy as possible.
Professional Growth Goals
At the heart of my professional aspirations is a strong desire to see Austin Lymphatic expand so more people can experience the benefits of a healthy lymphatic system. I’m aiming to grow by about 40% this year! It’s a bold target for our tiny, little business, but it’s not just about the numbers. It’s about how many more lives we can touch and the difference we make. I envision our two clinics operating at full capacity, bustling with full-time employees and waitlists of clients eager to experience our services.
Teaching people the value of regular lymphatic work is another key focus.
I want to ensure that every person who walks through our doors feels supported and
empowered to make lymphatic health a consistent part of their wellness routine.
This means not only getting fantastic results for our new clients, but showing them that some level of ongoing care is genuinely what’s in their best interest. I want to constantly collect actionable feedback that helps us to improve; and I strive to continue to provide five-star experiences for everyone—literally. My goal is to have at least 280 five-star reviews at each location by year’s end, adding over 100 for each in just one year.
Innovation in Lymphatic Health Services
But growth isn’t just about scaling up; it’s also about refining and innovating. This means not only expanding our physical space but also continuously improving our services, staying ahead of trends in lymphatic health, to serve our clients better.
At our Mopac location we now have the opportunity to take over two more rooms doubling our space! I am so excited we can finally expand this clinic. This will allow us to maximize our potential by bringing on new therapists while maintaining the highest standards of care. This includes ensuring we’re staffed with top-tier, loyal professionals who share our mission and values. To support this growth, I’m implementing streamlined workflows and effective protocols to keep everything running smoothly as we grow.
Education and Advocacy: Empowering Through Awareness
Another major focus for 2025 is education and advocacy. My dear friend Amber who owns Pure Remedy Massage in Liberty Hill has asked me to start a podcast with her. It’s WAY out of both our comfort zones but we know we’d have fun doing it. And since this is my year to put myself out there, I agreed with only some mild hesitation and arm twisting.
In addition, I’ve never had a social media profile in my life, but I’m determined to establish a strong social media presence to drive awareness about lymphatic health. Regular campaigns will allow me to educate, inspire, and connect with a broader audience. I want to become a recognizable face in the lymphatic community, someone people turn to for trusted information and guidance… mainly because there is so much misinformation out there and, quite frankly – I’m sick of it!
This commitment to education extends far beyond social media and silly podcasts (trust me, it will be silly). This year, I’ll launch the Integrative Lymphatic Therapy™ certification class (ILT is my trademarked technique), hosting it in two major cities with at least 20 attendees per class.
I’m so proud that in 2024, I got to teach this material to almost 100 students through the AMTA at their Texas State Convention and regional seminars. My goal is to set a new standard for lymphatic care and training.
To improve services and stay ahead of the trends, at Austin Lymphatic, we’re redefining body sculpting with our Myofascial Body Contouring Method™, going beyond surface-level results. These body contouring techniques you see on social media have historically been lumped in with Manual Lymphatic Drainage and it’s always really bothered me.
In an effort to improve services and stay ahead of the trends, at Austin Lymphatic, we’re redefining body sculpting with our Myofascial Body Contouring method™, going beyond surface-level results. These body contouring techniques you see on social media have historically been lumped in with Manual Lymphatic Drainage and it’s always really bothered me.
The techniques out there are not lymph techniques, they are fascia techniques and should be addressed as such. Our approach is an effective way to shape and sculpt your body while supporting your overall health.
This holistic technique combines the benefits of lymphatic drainage, Brazilian Stick, Cupping and Myofascial Release, working synergistically to improve fluid movement, and promote sustainable results. Unlike traditional Brazilian “Lymphatic” sculpting methods that focus solely on aesthetics, Myofascial Body Contouring™ targets the fascia—the connective tissue that influences your posture, mobility, and can even affect fluid retention.
By breaking up unhealthy tissue, reducing tension, and stimulating the lymphatic system, this approach not only enhances your physical appearance but also boosts circulation, and can make fluid in the tissue space flow with ease. We are so excited to be offering this. To be clear, it’s by no means a relaxing session, but it’s fun and can be very gratifying!
Similarly, I’m passionate about revolutionizing Lipedema treatment, creating a gold-standard Continuing Education (CE) program, and raising awareness about this underdiagnosed condition. Lipedema is a lymph related fat disorder that causes a disproportionate amount of fat to build up, usually in the thighs and lower body.
Lipedema treatment has long been overlooked, leaving countless individuals without proper care or understanding of their condition. Up to 11% of women are affected and it causes them terrible distress because normal weight loss methods are entirely ineffective.
My goal is to create a gold-standard CE program that equips therapists with the knowledge and skills to provide effective, compassionate care. This includes techniques to reduce swelling, and break up unhealthy connective tissue to improve mobility and enhance quality of life. By raising awareness through education and advocacy, I hope to empower both patients and practitioners to recognize and address Lipedema earlier, reducing its impact.
On the clinical side, I’m also working to develop a postpartum recovery protocol that provides mothers with the care and support they deserve. Postpartum recovery is criminally overlooked in traditional care models, leaving mothers to navigate physical changes such as pain, incontinence and scarring with little guidance.
Our protocol will focus on addressing swelling and inflammation, pelvic floor issues, and scar tissue while promoting relaxation and healing. By combining lymphatic therapy with targeted techniques such as pelvic floor therapy, we aim to support mothers in regaining strength and balance during this transformative time.
All the while, we want to continue being the go-to clinic for post-op and lymphedema services and partner with major hospitals as an overflow resource, we can expand our reach and impact and get those the help they need.
Hosting a fundraiser to raise awareness and financial aid for both Lymphedema and Lipedema patients is another initiative close to my heart. To make care more accessible, I’m exploring grant funding opportunities and launching an exclusive “Lymphedema Club” that offers discounted services to those in need.
Personal Growth and Finding Joy
While my professional goals are ambitious, my personal goals are more about who I want to be rather than what I want to achieve. This year, I’m committing to practicing mindfulness, gratitude, and Awe—pausing to appreciate the beauty and wonder in everyday moments. I want to deepen my connections with nature, friends, family, and new people, nurturing relationships that bring meaning and joy to my life.
Nature is front and center for me right now. I’m planning to hike hundreds of miles this year and learn as many bird calls as I can….. I’ve already spotted two Bald Eagles this year and a Prairie Falcon! Wahooo!
Physical and mental strength are also priorities. I’m challenging myself to start lifting weights and embrace activities that push me out of my comfort zone. At the same time, I’m striving for simplicity—saving money, living with less, and focusing on experiences over material possessions.
Ultimately, my personal goals boil down to one thing: finding joy. Whether it’s through play, creativity, or quiet moments of reflection, I want to embrace life fully and savor every moment.

Vulnerability Fuels Growth
As I look at this vision for 2025, I feel a mix of excitement and trepidation. Will I achieve all of these goals? Probably not. But the point isn’t perfection. It’s about dreaming big, taking steps forward, and embracing the journey.
Vulnerability is scary, but it’s also where the magic happens. A business coach once told me that if you want to make something happen, tell everyone you know about it. It makes you accountable. I want to be held accountable to these challenges because I think these things truly have the potential to make things better for a lot of people.
So here’s to a year of growth, possibility, and living with intention. What are your goals for 2025? Let’s dream big together, my friends.
With so much Love and Gratitude,
Jess
