Who Can Benefit From Pelvic Floor Therapy?

Here’s the Truth. At Austin Lymphatic, our clients tell us EVERYTHING.

We noticed a trend that our clients were experiencing symptoms associated with Pelvic Floor Dysfunction at an alarming rate. It seemed like 1/3 of our clients were telling us about issues associated with the pelvic floor!

When we started looking into how we could help these clients, we found that there were not a lot of good options. And so, Austin Pelvic Floor Therapy was born!

We are so thrilled to be able to offer solutions to the issues we hear about most frequently.

Why Do These Problems Occur?

Understanding the Causes of Pelvic Floor Dysfunction and How Pelvic Floor Therapy Can Help.

For several reasons, pelvic floor muscles can become weakened, tight, or lax, causing pelvic floor dysfunction. The pelvic floor muscles are attached to your pelvis and tailbone and are basically what’s keeping everything in that region in place and inside your body.  So we must have control over this muscle group or there will be problems.

If the muscles in the pelvic floor are weak, can’t relax or don’t work together as they should, this is called pelvic floor dysfunction. Pelvic floor therapy offers a comprehensive solution to these challenges allowing you to regain control and re-engage in daily activities with confidence.
